If you play with Otrimi, your definition of ‘playful’ might be somewhat questionable to your friends, who probably don’t think it’s fun to be smacked with a big 6/6 trampler. Sepulchral Primordial scoffs in this card’s general direction, and is much more recurrable in the kinds of decks that care about reviving dead creatures, so please cut this as soon as you open the box. In truth, it’s just a vanilla Hydra with downside. In most cases Iâd see myself casting this defensively in response to a wrath effect but, in some cases if youâre an aggressive deck this could allow you to cast your own wrath (say, Wrath of God) while giving all your own creatures indestructible. And better Hydras. If thereâs a lovelier combination of colors than Sultai, I havenât seen it. Someone flipped their Journey to Eternity? And thatâs just a tame scenario. It’s a little rote to say that this is good in Muldrotha, the Gravetide because, well, what isn’t good with Muldrotha, right? In an X spell deck, I think you’ll find something to do with that. Deadly Rollick â Black needs more good exile removal, and this is certainly playable. Iâd like this spell a lot more if it also hit planeswalkers (similar to Eat to Extinction ) but, Iâm certainly not going to complain, or not run it.
