As part of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Year marking the 25th anniversary of the death of the "Apostle of Peace", the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research organized a sports day in Daloa, chief place of the Upper Sassandra Region in west-central Côte d'Ivoire. Many high school youths participated in the Football, Basketball and Handball competitions organized for this purpose with the assistance of the administrative authorities of the city of Daloa.
