The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) held from April 8-10, 2014 at the headquarters of the Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace (Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire) a round table on In the context of preparations for the launch of the ISESCO Regional Center for Education in a Culture of Peace.
The purpose of the round table was to support the integration of education into the culture of peace in the social sphere and had the participation of 20 teaching experts from the Ivorian Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research , Officials from the Houphouët-Boigny Foundation and members of the Implementation Committee of the World Program for Human Rights Education.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the UNESCO Chair on Human Rights and the Culture of Peace, representatives of a number of training and research centers in the development of educational activities and representatives of certain associations in society Civil society in this field.
ISESCO was represented at the supervision of this event by Ms Mariama Niang, Program Specialist in the Directorate of Education.
