On April 24, 2016 in Yamoussoukro, the Secretary-General of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research was visited by Ambassador Bruno Joubert, at the headquarters of the institution he headed. After the usual civilities, the French diplomat, accompanied by two of his collaborators, was able to discover the main tourist areas of our headquarters, including: conference rooms, exhibition space and the lounge of honor.
It should be recalled that HE Bruno Joubert was Ambassador of France to the Holy See in Rome from 2012 to 2015. He is currently a member of the Preventive Diplomacy Group of the European Institute of Peace. Founded in 2014 and based in Brussels, Belgium, this independent organization supports the European Union in the development of its peace policy through mediation and dialogue in international conflicts. A partnership could therefore arise between our foundation and this institute in the field of the culture of peace.
At the end of his visit, the illustrious host signed the guestbook.
