On Saturday, January 23, 2021 took place at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research (FHB Foundation) the traditional ceremony of presentation of New Year’s greetings to the Secretary General of the said institution, Professor Jean-Noël LOUCOU.
As usual, this ceremony began with a speech addressed by the Chief of Staff of the FHB Foundation, Mr. Christophe ASSOH, on behalf of all his colleagues to Professor Loucou. He wished the latter a happy new year 2021, not without drawing up a list of grievances in order to improve working conditions.
Taking the floor, the head of the “institution in the service of peace” thanked all his colleagues for the work done during the year 2020 despite the global pandemic of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the post-election crisis that Côte d’Ivoire has experienced. He then welcomed the newly hired persons to the FHB Foundation. Finally, he said he was hopeful of obtaining the support of HEM. Alassane OUATTARA, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, in the realization of three major projects, namely the Museum of Peace, the Radio of Peace studios in Yamoussoukro and the Pan African School of Peace (EPAP).
After the speeches, all the agents of the institution headed by Dr. Diénéba DOUMBIA, Director of the Department of Peace Research and Mr. Abdoulaye SANGARÉ, Director of Radio de la Paix, had the opportunity to greet the Secretary General in respect of the barriers related to COVID-19.
The ceremony ended with the traditional family photo and a lunch.
