Young Muslim and Christian leaders of Yamoussoukro benefited from a training seminar on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the headquarters of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research (FHB Foundation) in Yamoussoukro. This seminar which focused on peace and social cohesion was led by experts Mr. Ernest YAO KOFFI and Lucien ZAHOULI TIE BI of the illustrious institution of peace.

Celebration of the International Day of Peace 2020

Celebrated by the UNESCO Office in Abidjan and the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research (FHB Foundation) on Monday, September 21, 2020, the International Day of Peace had as its theme: “Shaping Peace Together: Today and Tomorrow with Youth”.

To the many young people who came from all regions of Côte d’Ivoire, Pr. Adama DIAWARA, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research representing the Prime Minister Mr. Hamed BAKAYOKO, asked to avoid being used as sofas by some politicians during his speech. “We must promote values, behaviors and attitudes that contribute to the construction of peaceful and inclusive societies” he recommended. He also called for the civic spirit of Ivorians to create a peaceful electoral environment. “The presidential election should not be a vector of tension, but rather a privileged way to maintain and strengthen social peace,” he advised.

Femajeci strengthens the capacities of Association Leaders

Theme: "Training of Youth Association Leaders in peace, democratic culture, mutual understanding and respect for the barrier measures related to COVID-19, for a peaceful electoral environment".

Femajeci organized a training seminar in collaboration with the Félix Houphouet Boigny Foundation for Peace Research. This activity took place in Yamoussoukro from September 9 to 11, 2020, with Young Leaders from different parts of the Ivory Coast. Our modest contribution to strengthen the social climate of our country during this election period.

200 Women Leaders of the Department of Gagnoa Trained in the Culture of Peace, Civism and Non-Violence

On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 200 women leaders from the department of Gagnoa benefited from a training workshop on the culture of peace, civic-mindedness and non-violence during elections.

This training, provided by two experts from the Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research (FHB Foundation), aimed to build the capacity of leaders of women’s associations for the promotion of peace through the respect of civic values and non-violence.
